Our team
The Bing’s Natural Health team consists of two amazing practitioners who are passionate about helping you to:
achieve your health and well-being goals
revitalise your heart, mind, body and spirit.
Our practitioners are
tertiary educated, registered with APHRA (the national body that regulates Australia’s registered health practitioners)
are members of professional associations
have provider numbers with all the major health funds in Australia
This means that all our practitioners maintain the strict guidelines regarding levels of continued education yearly that allow us to practice in Australia.

Dr Alice Louey
(Acupuncture and Chinese medicine)
Alice is a superstar Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine doctor and shiatsu practitioner. She is also the clincial director of Bing’s Natural Health. She posseses a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience in various areas of healthcare.
Alice uses her skills and empathy to work alongside you:

JOURNEY
Alice’s journey in healthcare traverses western medicine (microbiology, genetics) and eastern medicine (shiatsu, acupuncture and chinese medicine), plus body movement and alignment strategies from many yoga and dance classes along the way.
STRENGTHS
Alice is passionate about letting the world in on the secret that acupuncture and chinese medicine are amazing for improving, and maintaining, your lifelong holistic health and well-being
She is a bit of a nerd and naturally curious; she routinely reads research articles and studies that involve acupuncture for different health issues.
In her treatment sessions, Alice uses:
the knowledge gained from her previous career as a medical scientist to help you understand your health better
stretches and gentle body movements to enhance your sessions
understanding of body movement, body alignment and body structures for improving body posture, to minimise or counteract the effects of daily habits (like being hunched over a keyboard)
dietary and lifestyle advice for your self-care at home
acupuncture, chinese medicine and other techniques

PERSONAL
Outside of work, Alice loves hanging out with her pets (1 dog and 1 cat) and reading books while drinking coffee and teas. She loves cooking; she’s currently experimenting with healthier recipes as her partner thinks she’s conspiring to make him fat.
You may find her in your local dog park, bookshop or library.
Dr Julia Sae Jin Cho
(Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine)
Julia is a caring and passionate practitioner who has a great passion for helping people to regain balance between mind, body and the five elements to cultivate optimal health. She strongly believes in the fundamental chinese medicine concept of balancing the yin energy and yang energy within the body.
JOURNEY
Julia grew up in a family that was influenced by oriental medicine. She has memories of taking dark and bitter herbal concoctions every change of season (according to the 5-element theory of health) in order to:
strengthen the kidneys in winter,
cleanse the liver in spring,
nourish the heart in summer
nourish the lungs in autumn.
The traditional methods of preventing disease before it occurs by using herbal medicines has always fascinated her from a young age.
STRENGTH
She has a particular interest in working with clients with dermatology/skin issues, women’s health including fertiltiy issues, and digestive issues. Julia has a special interest in skin care, beauty treatments and cosmetic acupuncture.
