Eastern Medicine takes into consideration the needs of the individual and tailors a treatment plan that is unique for each individual. Having both an eastern and western medical background helps me to work with patients to support their health and wellbeing. I consider myself extremely fortunate to genuinely love and enjoy the work that I do.
Prior to studying Chinese medicine I completed studies in Ayurveda for two years. I later graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2009 with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I completed training in Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture, as well as Chinese Herbal medicine. I completed post graduate herbal training with Dr Tao Xie and an Acupuncture Residency at the Boston Medical Centre in 2010. I have worked as a Chinese Medical practitioner in the United States, India and Australia. In India I treated thousands of patients in a holistic community health care clinic in conjunction with doctors and physiotherapists.
I currently hold AHPRA registration in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Nursing. I am also registered with the NCCAOM, the governing organization for Chinese Medicine in North America.
